The celebration continued into the night time, with the Rebels rendezvousing at Bright Tree Village. The Ewoks | EwoksSentient Species | later proceeded to celebrate by utilizing helmets of stormtroopers | Imperial StormtrooperOrganizationGalactic Empire Military | and TIE pilots | Imperial Fighter PilotOrganizationGalactic Empire Navy | confiscated from the Imperial survivors as drums. Shortly after his death, what little had remained of Vader | Darth Vader(Human)CharacterMajor Characters | 's organic body had vanished into the Force, leaving behind only his cybernetics and armor. Despite this, Luke created a funeral pyre for the armor in the traditional Jedi | Jedi OrderOrganizationGalaxy-Wide Organizations | manner, and set it alight as the Rebel celebration got underway. After the armor had all but burned away, Luke returned to Bright Tree Village where most of the planetside Rebel commanders were celebrating. After warmly greeting both Leia and Han, Luke took a moment to gaze off into the distance, and saw the ghost of his father | Anakin Skywalker(Human)CharacterMajor Characters | , along with the ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi | Obi-Wan Kenobi(Human)CharacterMajor Characters | and Yoda | YodaCharacterMajor Characters | , standing on the platform from whence he had just come.
